Attention The Five Latino Actors In Hollywood: Salma Hayek And MGM Announce Plans To Produce Two To Four Latino Themed Projects A Year
29 May 2007, 2:30 PM. By Cindy Casares

Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek and Hollywood studio Metro Goldwyn-Mayer have team up to form a production company called Ventanazul (for you non-spanish readers, that means “Bluewindow,” but all jammed together for reasons too creative for you to understand) to promote Latino talent in the film industry. Hayek will be executive producer of the company and plans to release two to four Latino themed projects a year that will make Latinos “proud” of their culture. We will be proud if they can find someone besides Edward James Olmos to play the dad/teacher/farmer/pachuco.
