Former CHiPs star Erik Estrada received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame proving once and for all what a meaningless honor that is. Estrada who sold Florida real estate on infomercials before reviving his career on the hit Telenovela, Dos Mujeres, Un Camino, saw his award as an honor to both his heritages:

For me as a Latin American actor to receive this honor I feel very proud. To me as an Hispanic American I feel twenty times as proud
