This Week In Headlines That Are Funny In Spanish
31 May 2007, 4:53 PM. By Cindy Casares

Among the many advantages of being bilingual (not least of which is not having to wait for people to leave the room before you talk shit about them) is the added humor that comes with unwitting bilingual headlines. Take for example the one featured above from a Chicagoist story on Italian calzones. In Spanish, “calzones” means underwear. Which may be where the diaper-shaped pie gets it’s name. Not so funny: The fact that those pies look like someone’s moist, wrinkled ass.
