Will U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales be welcomed back to his hometown of Houston if he ends up getting shit-canned from his current gig in Washington? According to local Houston TV station KHOU’s investigation he will.

That investigation includes an interview with Rocky Rhodes (really), a law professor at South Texas College of Law who was quoted as saying that the very qualities that could be getting [Gonzales] in trouble in Washington now may be just what a law firm would look for in hiring him:

"What client wouldn't love a lawyer ... who's extremely loyal to them, puts their interest first over his own personal interests and who was willing to be the fall guy, if you will?" he asked.
