(Guanabee peeks its nose out from behind the kitchen to see what the rest of the world is up to.)
Harlyn Geronimo, the grandson of famous Native American warrior Geronimo, has asked President George W. Bush for his granddaddy’s bones back.
“Legend has it that Yale University’s ultrasecret Skull and Bones society swiped the remains of American Indian leader Geronimo in 1918 from an Army outpost in Oklahoma.”
Apparently Dubya’s paternal grandfather Prescott Bush was one of those who helped steal the bones which are now in the club’s headquarters. If the bones prove to be those of Geronimo, Harlyn wants to bury them near Geronimo’s birthplace in southern New Mexico’s Gila Wilderness.
Come on, Dubya: give the man his granddaddy’s bones back.
