Brazilian_Yogurt_MM_6_25_07.jpg Produced by Brazilian ad agency Salles Chemistri, the ads seen here have divided opinion into two camps: entirely offended Americans and slightly offended Brazilians. They parody a trio of America’s most recognizable sex icons in promotion of Itambé’s fat free yogurt, saying

“Forget about it. Men’s preference will never change. Fit Light Yogurt.”

Whatever your reaction, the reality is that the campaign wasn’t well-received on its home turf and even less so in the States. But the bottom line is, these spots have clearly struck a nerve–the kind of negative attention that’s more lucrative than no attention at all.

We’ve been duped, and are stepping out for some fat free yogurt as you read this. Haven’t you heard? Summer’s here, and blogging doesn’t exactly leave you in shape for the beach.
