Buyer's Remorse Will Hit You Like A Mojito Hangover

80s_Chic1_6_15_07.jpg Today’s Fashion & Style Slideshow from The New York Times heralds the comeback of ’80s chic…again. Upon viewing it, the notion of pairing pastels with linens for the umpteenth time in our young lives sent us on a technicolor trip—one that even featured the opening credits from Miami Vice. (We’re still reeling from so many swirling palm trees, flamingos, and synthesizer drums.) Soon after coming off this consumer high, the whole thing left us with quite the conundrum.

80s_Chic2_6_15_07.jpg On one hand, the vaguely Latino model featured in the spread looks like the guy we used to buy pot from. On the other, a glorified wifebeater with a graphic that’ll be dated by next week only costs $140.
