We’d like to take this opportunity to point out, on the eve of the launch of Paula Abdul’s new reality show, “Hey Paula,” that she may or may not be Latin. We’re not sure. According to Wikipedia, her parents are of Jewish heritage, but her father did migrate with his family from Syria to Brazil (frankly, we’re not really sure Brazil is Latin, either) before settling in California where Paula was eventually born. We think we’ll decide whether or not to claim her after we see her new trainwreck show in which she is reported to be quite the shrew. Fetching! Stay tuned.
