Earlier, we learned that the Road To Menudo is paved with gold, so it should be no surprise that the powers behind 80’s child-pop factory Timbiriche would want to get in on some nostalgia action, too. The Mexican kid band that gave pop stars Paulina Rubio and Thalía their start along with half a dozen others, is taking it on the road, including here in the States, for the 25th anniversary of their first performance. If that doesn’t make you feel old, maybe this will:

Say what you will about American pop-tartlets and boy bands. At least none of them have joined forces to subject us to unisex pop abuse like they used to in Mexico. At least not yet…

    Just went to the show yesterday in Mexico city!!! Always nice to remember the good old days although I did feel quite old. Anyways, the concert is amazing… hope all of you get a chance to go!
