If you haven’t heard of Carlos Slim Helú, odds are you don’t take our brown brother to the south seriously when it comes to business. Slim is the Mexican tycoon and alleged monopolist that’s second only to Microsoft demi-god Bill Gates on the Forbes wealthiest list, and is predicted to overtake ol’ four eyes soon. A primer on the world’s most powerful beaner:
• The multi-billionaire founded his empire on the profits of Latin America’s largest cellphone company, then expanded into the land-line business before taking over a plethora of stuff like retail, cigarettes, and railroads. (Oh, my!)
• If you’ve set foot in Mexico over the past decade, the man’s hand has dipped into your wallet.
• Slim upped the endowment doled out by his companies’ foundations from $4 billion to $10 billion three months ago, spread out over the next four years.
• Slim got his backwoods surname from his Jordanian father, and earned his riches by buying failed companies at bargain rates before turning their losses into profits.
• Riffing on that old Chinese proverb about feeding a hungry man, Slim proposed a solution to the poor man’s dilemma in today’s New York Times:
Instead of giving him the fish, instead of teaching him how to fish, you have to teach him how to sell the fish so that he eats something else besides a fish.
Who says poor Latinos want fish? They clearly enjoy the finer things in life, as evidenced by the fact that cuy ain’t going nowhere. Then again, we don’t mind waiting at the Mexican gravy train stop for instructions on how to market fish from a guy who’s ripped people off for billions at a time. Of course, we would prefer a hand-out…

don carlos es el hombre ,,para que invierta en el proseso de infriameinto en el mundo se nesesitan ,mucho dinero para el diseno de los tienpos ,,hoy,, el calentamiento global se debe atanto acidos el beneno se puede desactibar ,,trayendo lo del agua salada ala tierra por que las nubes gargan y el sol evaporisa el agua del mar alas nuves formandose de pequenas particulas de h2o,,que luego son yebadas por el viento alos grandes montanas ,,y para luego formar un gas simple del la astrotosfera dela capa prinsipal de la tierra ,,que de las lluvias es formado por el denso polvo cosmico que luego es la transformasion de los particulas de carbono ,y luego que pode tapar poco a poco al contruir grandes pilas de aguas de sal para el riego ,,y unas aspas que y tanques que puedan ser cosinadas formando unas gases de evaporisasion dela sal para poder atar los grandes gases c2c que es el veneno que puede destruir la tierra los gobiernos del mundo pagarian lo que fuera por ,,que nuestro mundo que vivimos ,,se pudieran construir ,,tan caros enormes filtros de la radiasion ,i contaminacion del medio ambiente las aves los animales y los pueblos enteros ,,con los cuales vivimos juntos ,,se berian de nuevo en paz por el agresivo diseno para salvar nuestro hermoso mundu aun que unos sean ricos otros pobres pero DIOS ,,a querido que vivamos juntos en este nuestro mundo que nos dio para que lo cuidemos no inportando nuestros ..diferencias esto es lo que ase nuestro mundo es que no inportando ,,en que parte del mundo estemos es lo que lo ase espesial ayi donde estemos seamos blancos o negros rojos o amarillos asi lo quiso el creador y eso lo ase espesial y hermoso ,,es nuestro ..tenemos el diseno ,,por favor ayudenos a terminar el diseno para salvar nuestro planeta ,,,,aten,,juan molina ,,cel 5045 71 55 20,,
