When we heard that the government of Mexico is very publicly cracking down on the ethics of their federal police, we had to laugh. After all, everyone knows the only bigger crooks than the Mexican cops are the Mexican government officials. So we have no idea what they mean when they tell the press that before they can return to work, each officer will be subjected to a “trust test.” We can only imagine some team building exercises in which at least one person is blindfolded and various billy clubs are used.
