Miguel Bose And Michael Stipe Make Sweet Music Together

If you’ve never heard of Spanish singer Miguel Bose, you’re not alone, but surprisingly, former REM front man Michael Stipe has! We give him mad props and apparently so does Bose because he tapped Stipe (no pun) to sing with him on a track for his recently released duets album, Papito. The title is a nickname Bose says his closest friends call him. (Do they now?) The album celebrates 30 years of Bose’s music and includes 15 other latin singers like Ricky Martin, but Stipe is the only one who’s, you know, from Georgia.

It’s a great track. I knew it since the 1993 Miguel Bosé’s fantastic Album called ‘Bajo el Signo de Caín’, with versions in italian: Sotto il signo di Caino and english: Under The Sign Of Cain. It’s a great album wich one of its better song is ‘Lo que ves es lo que hay’, What You See Is What Exists. Bosé’s english version is ‘The Hunter And The Pray’. I saw him live in Santiago de Chile and Viña del Mar singing that song. It was incredible. Both, Bosé and Stipe are excellent musicians with an interesting expertiece.
