We stumbled upon the above clip in our endless journey to sample the world’s soap ops. It’s a particularly dramatic scene from the South Korean show called “All About Eve”, known to Peruvian fans as “Todo Sobre Eva”. According to Wikipedia, the series focuses “on two beautiful, young TV news reporters competing for the top position at the network they work for.” Compelling concept or not, we’re scratching our heads as to why Latin Americans outsource their melodrama when they live in the cradle of telenovelas.
