Pride Week 2007. Yay!

FolsomEast_06_19_07.jpg Our favorite gay Latino blogger in New York, Andrés Duque from Blabbeando, regales us with some tidbits from Pride Week 2007. A highlight of the festivities since they started was Sunday’s “Folsom’s Street East Fair” in New York. For which the main event was a key-lime pie eating contest whose featured food Andrés managed to get all over his hair. Gee Golly!
Pride Week runs from June 17 to June 24 to celebrate the LGBT community, commemorate the Stonewall Riots, and support the ongoing fight for gay liberation. And it’s also the occasion when New York City to tries to outdo San Francisco in getting more men to wear butt-less leather chaps.
