Rice and Maduro Pair Nicely on Plate, Not Center Stage in Panama City

Too bad geopolitics doesn’t take after tasty tropical dishes. Token Black Cabinet Member/U.S. Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice exchanged blows with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas “Plátano” Maduro this week, according to the Jamaica Gleaner … wait a minute, is that the most legit news source we could tap for this story? Anyway, with the 37th assembly of the Organization of American States as her audience, Rice compared Venezuela to a police state (not too much of a stretch there) and thus prompted Maduro to compare the U.S. to Nazi Germany (whoa, nelly!).
Of course Connie takes a hard line against anyone in cahoots with Hugo Chávez, but can’t she spare Danny Glover?
