Some People Anxiously Await J. Lo And Marc Anthony’s Latest Flick

A cheesy poster, a pair of musicians-turned-actors, and plenty of hype…the recipe for movie disaster, right? Apparently the people on web forums for “El Cantante” don’t think so. Tony from New Rochelle, NY sez:
As a fan of both Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, I am anxiously awaiting the release.
The latest trailer for the movie, which pairs J. Lo and Marc Anthony to tell the true story of salsa legend Hector ‘La Voz’ Lavoe, surprised us by not looking as terrible as we had thought. (Don’t hold us to that; we’re slightly hungover.) The movie’s much anticipated and seemingly doomed release has sparked a demand for its preview. Reluctantly, we give the people what they want after the jump. Be careful what you wish for…

I don’t want to be a ho, but my coworker saw it when it played at the Toronto Film Festival and since she’s a J.Lo hater I was surprised when she told me this movie was actually good.
