Yesterday, these so-called Miura bulls were unleashed on throngs of tourists at the San Fermin Festival’s second of eight bull runs in Pamplona, where they trampled seven and gored two. As easy as it is for us to find the humor in this absurd custom (a trust fund baby from Connecticut backpacks across Europe just to get his brains stomped out), the Spaniards are also on board: they named ‘the lightest’ of the participating bulls, who weighs in at a staggering 1,433 pounds, Majito. It means “Little Cutie”.
