With Dems flinging perjury accusations at him like a rabid pack of howler monkeys, U.S. Attorney Alberto Gonzales has employed the time-honored political move of refusing to take questions from the press and focusing on ‘the issues.’ Today, at a Springfield, IL gathering of people in support of something called Project Safe Childhood, Cabana Al asked law enforcement officials to get graphic when they report sex crimes against minors to stop people’s “tendency to turn away”:

Not just young teenage girls in bikinis, but these are images of crimes being committed against our children, of dads having sex with their young daughters, oral sex, defecation. I mean, just, we’ve got to be extremely graphic about what we’re seeing because all these images mean that a child has been molested.

Jeez, that’s a tough act to follow. Instead of cracking a joke here, we’ll just wait quitely until words like ‘double penetration’ and ‘Cleveland steamer’ wind up in the headlines.
