In a medical journal released today, a cat named Oscar is noted for forecasting which residents at a Providence nursing home are going to die by “curling up next to them in their final hours.” So far, the feline harbinger of death has ushered a whopping 25 people into the afterlife. (We’re not surprised to hear said geezers were mostly oblivious to him being there.) According to a researcher, there might be some selfish reasons behind Oscar sharing his talent with the world:

If Oscar really is a furry grim reaper, it’s also possible his behavior could be driven by self-centered pleasures like a heated blanket placed on a dying person, Dodman said.

We don’t blame Oscar, either. We have our own weird fetishes here at Guanabee headquarters, like curling up to Cindy after she fell down the stairs and passed out late last night.

    Cats: half in, half out.
We are fans of cats and we believe every cool thing that is said about cats, that being said, this borders on creepy.
