Manolo_Cardona_7_25_07.png Latino gossip site Lossip (get it?) has announced a recent addition to the cast of “South of the Border,” a Disney production starring Drew Barrymore as a pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua who gets lost in Mexico. (Your family will fall in love with the stereotypes!) The writers seem to forget the movie is animated, let alone meant for the kids:

Well this cast just got a little sexier. Colombian telenovela hunk Manolo Cardono [...] is scheduled to star in Disney’s film as well. Manolo Cardono, show Hollywood what this guapo can do!

Agreed–few things are sexier than sophisticated computer generated imagery. In no time, “South of the Border” fans will be begging Cardona’s to strip off their skorts and show them the true meaning of ‘Latin Lover.’

[Ed. Note: There's a joke here about the fact that these gossipers with "a Latin sensibility" mispelled the guy's surname...twice. But we at Guanabee don't think typos are a laughing matter.]

Maybe they thought that was an adjective, not a surname, so they made it agree with the gender of the subject (Manolo).

… Ok. That’s a rather elementary mistake. I take back my apology for them.
