Start your morning with a cracker!

Yesterday we stumbled upon this website called White Dade: Life As An American Living Abroad. And By Abroad I Mean Miami. To our shock, it reveals that Florida has in its midst some ignorant, White racists. We’re just as surprised as you, as we thought it was nothing but a happy carnivale of tanned flesh and breast implants (both male and female) down there. How can anyone be unsatisfied in Miami-Dade County? Leave it to White Dade to let us know in a post entitled, Judge Not By The Color of One’s Skin, But By the Content of Their Culture:

While many of you have taken to calling me a racist and a bigot and a redneck and a variety of other things, I think that is a gross mischaracterization. Not to say I am not at all a prejudiced or biased person, but in some respect everyone is. But the point many of you seem to miss is that I do not dislike Hispanic people. Hell, I downright like a lot of them. What I can’t stand is Latin Culture.

But what exactly does White Dade define as “Latin Culture?”

Some highlights (as the full list pretty much includes every annoying thing in the cavalcade of human behavior):

What I hate is a condescending attitude towards people who lived here before you.
What I hate is “Lemme Get”
What I hate is lack of politeness.
What I hate is greasy hair.
What I hate is overzealous Christianity.
What I hate is conspicuous consumption.
What I hate is acceptance of corruption.
What I hate is lying.
What I hate is refusal to learn English.
What I hate is people having large families much to the detriment of society.
What I hate is reggaeton. (Editor’s Note: We’re with him on that one, actually.)

But sad news, White Dade is about to hang it up and move to the University of Florida because he couldn’t get into Texas or Northwestern. So hurry over there and give him your kudos while you can.

Wait a sec. Condescending attitude to those who lived here before you, “lemme get” (whatever that means), lack of politeness, nasty hair, overzealous Christianity, conspicuous consumption, acceptance of corruption, lying, refusal to learn English and having a family that’s a detriment to society? Why is White Dade being so harsh on Bush and his supporters?

Mexican food can be quite greasy, that’s why I went on an all Asian/Macrobiotic diet. I like her confederate flag dress.

To use one of his own creative phrases- “if you don’t like it, go back where you came from”..I’m guessing Hee-Haw land.

He’s really talking about Cuban culture, but he incorrectly calls it Latin Culture.

“Lemme get”…that’s so funny and true.
