Just in time to hype up next summer’s Olympic Games in Beijing, something called the United Dance Salsa Congress will be invading China this August.Check out this random promo that invites you to join the festivities; you wouldn’t wanna miss out on “making history,” now would you? Once you get past the first 40 seconds of ominous grunts, drums, and stock footage portraying the country as more exotic than it was hundreds of years ago, a hilarious montage ensues of the world’s most intense salsa performers. (With a name like Machete, you can’t help but be a bad-ass on the dance floor.) The four day event is also, among other things, the 2007 Annual Youth Salsa Camp. And you thought the stories from band camp were graphic…
