In the latest installment of his diary, Communist dictator Fidel Castro claims Western powers like the U.S. and the U.K. got that way because they “steal brains.” Some say the island’s leader is referring to ‘brain drain,’ the phenomenon in which countless Latin American and Caribbean professionals ditch the motherland for a country that’ll pay them more for their services. Good luck trying to prove it, Fidel, with all those cold hard facts and well-researched figures you mention; is it a problem that 8 of every 10 university graduates in the Caribbean islands bounce soon after? We think he actually meant America “eats brains” and is therefore a zombie. To which we respond it takes one to know one, you silly rotting megalomaniac.
