Aside from being Friday the 13th, today is the thirtieth anniversary of the notorious black out that rocked New York during its transition from disco to punk rock. Why do we bring it up, you ask? Because the incident that plunged the city into darkness and supposedly had Gothamites sexin’ like rabbits also served as the climax for the 1999 Spike Lee joint “Summer of Sam.” Starring John Leguizamo, the above clip is a hyper-speed version of the movie that boils it down to its only entertaining element: the 315 f-bombs dropped by Juanito and his cohorts.
