Graffiti_Love_7_11_07.jpg When 12 year-old Shelby Sendelbach wrote “I love Alex” to her 15 year-old boyfriend Alex Mendoza on their school’s gym wall, she had no idea it would get her lumped together with brawlers, terrorists, and druggies. (Oh, my!) Though it initially deemed what Sendelbach did graffiti and a Level 4 infraction (alongside assaulting someone, making terrorist threats, and holding drugs), the Katy Independent School District is considering alternatives to the four month punishment of ‘alternative schooling’ that Sendelbach faces. Naturally, Mendoza is both “flattered” and “really shocked” by the whole fiasco. He’s quite a catch, Shelby–the only reaction we got from older guys in middle school was, ‘Grow some tits and call me!’
