Illegals Probably Aren’t Helping To Build America, But May We Interest You In A Book On Construction Spanglish?
19 July 2007, 9:00 AM. By Cindy Casares

We were amused yesterday to stumble upon a book for sale called Learning Construction Spanglish on a site called buildersbooksource.com. From the book description:
Designed specifically for those who direct Spanish-speaking construction crews. GO RIGHT TO THE PHRASES YOU NEED FOR: Foundations, Framing, Finish Work, Roofing, Exteriors, Drywall, Electrical, Plumbing, Emphasis, Compliments
And lest you think this is some fly-by-night publisher out of the back of someone’s station wagon, it’s published by McGraw-Hill, publishers of BusinessWeek and the parent company of J.D. Power and Associates. We wonder how their shareholders will vote in the next presidential election.
