Remember that Peruvian preacher boy who stole all your karaoke moves to spread the word of God, televangelist style? Turns out he has a name, and figures a lifetime of channeling Jesus will prepare him for politics. (No surprise there.) Also, he’s about to hit that awkward pre-teen phase just as his YouTube clips have gone viral.

• His name is Nazaret Castillo Rey, but he goes by ‘Castirey’ when performing.
• He’s 11 years old these days, and claims he’s been doing his thing since age 3. The video we posted is from when he was 6 or 7!
• In a recent interview, he said he wouldn’t mind being the president of Peru if that’s what God wanted for him.

• Rey’s other famous video, which can be seen here if you dare, features him railing against those “lying little men, the inventors of fallacies” behind the scientific theory of evolution. It culminates in this shocker of a statement:

I’m not the evolution! I’m not a relative of the monkey! God is the one who created me, in the womb of my mother!

We’re sure she secretly regrets that turn of events every morning she wakes to your absurdity, little man.

I would beg to differ, but that is neither here nor there. Between lowering the age of consent, camerondiazgate, and this little creationist here Peru is on a rocket to Mesozoic stardom. Tiny Nazaret here should put down the sippy cup of full of chicha and call it a day.

Those last few years of Fujimori-Montesinos didn’t have the place looking so spiffy, either. It’s been awhile since the Peruanos could hold their heads high, then.
