Sandra Bullock’s Hubby Outed As a Cheapskate

Mr. Sandra Bullock and the face of Discovery Channel’s glorified chop shop show “Monster Garage”, Jesse James, was rolling through Austin one day when he spotted the bicycle at right on display at René Martínez’s Longhorn Bikes shop. Yep, those are actual steer horns serving as handlebars. James had his driver stop and offered $200 for a bike whose designer figured was worth more than twice that much; naturally, Martínez turned him away with that look Mexican vendors are trained to give shameless gringo hagglers. (A look we’re all too familiar with … except for the gringo part.) Since then, six editions of Martínez’s signature creation have found their way into the hands of proud owners all over the irritatingly hip Texan town. And they’re not even married to the star of “The Lake House.” (As if that would help.)
