That Guy From “La Bamba” Threatened Old Girlfriend With Gang Bang, Gave Her Herpes (According To Lawsuit)

Oh, lorr, what do we have here? A veteran Latino actor caught in a steaming pile of legal mess, that’s what. Former NYPD Blue star and current Spanish-language spokesperson for Allstate Insurance, Esai Morales, has been sued by an ex-girlfriend for a laundry list of alleged and slimy acts. They include assault, forcible rape, and threatening to sic “every gangbanger in town” on her if she squealed. But what’s got Elizabeth Mazzochi fighting mad is that Morales gave her the gift that keeps on giving:
Mazzocchi, who has engaged camera-ready attorney Gloria Allred as legal counsel, claims that Morales knew he had herpes, but continued to have sex with her without telling her.
So the guy who played Richie Valens’ adopted brother in “La Bamba” is facing such heinous charges… in a civil suit?
It’s clear to us the victim has her priorities straight, preferring financial retribution to that whole justice thing. Then again, if he’s guilty (say it ain’t so, Esai!), she oughta hit him where it hurts. Which, for a well-respected but hardly bankable Latino actor, might not be his wallet.
