Angelina Jolie Unknowingly Catches Taco Fever In Hipster Brooklyn

Saying fuck it to the conventions of celebrity endorsement, the owner of a taco restaurant in the hipster-infested Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn has taken it upon himself to paint a mural of Angelina Jolie three stories above his business. The image consists of a black- and-white Jolie lifting her hair above her head and baring some cleavage while her thought bubble reads, “I have taco fever!!!” (Don’t we know it, Angie.) Nicolas Hernández says it took him four hours to complete the 20 ft x 30 ft painting, leaving us to wonder how long it took him to come up with such a clever use of that vagina euphemism. Turns out it’s no laughing matter:
Building owner Humberto Mariano gave the project a green light after Hernandez explained his end goal (other than selling tacos): “I wanted to foster the idea that [Williamsburg] is a deep, artistic community.”
Riiight. And that Mexican ad where a crucified Jesus pushes iPods is meant to foster ecumenical unity.
What’s up with that? [Time Out New York]
