Beyond The Barrio: Bo Didley Seriously Ill, But The Butterscotch Pony Sings The Blues

News today of two of our favoritest people in the world suffering ill health. First Bo Didley is in “serious” condition in a Florida hospital after suffering a heart attack. The 78 year old legendary blues singer and guitarist “complained of dizziness and nausea” on Friday during a visit to his doctor and underwent surgery to install a stent to improve blood flow to his heart at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. ”He is conscious,” his publicist said, “The situation is very serious.”
And an investigation of 911 calls confirms officers were called to Owen Wilson’s home Sunday because of a suicide attempt. He is reported to be recovering well at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (the showbiz hospital). We wish them both a speedy recovery.
