Bi-National Protest Nothing To Do With Sex. Lots To Do With Dicks And Pussies In Washington.
17 August 2007, 5:30 PM. By Cindy Casares
After repeatedly begging the rest of the country to stop this border fence madness, the Texans who reside in the lower Rio Grande Valley border area have organized the first ever, bi-national protest with their neighbors across the water. Called, “Hands Across El Rio,” the event will take place over 16 days from August 25 to September 9 and will include cities from all along the Texas-Mexico border from Brownsville to El Paso. That’s 1,250 miles of Tejanos and Mexicanos from both sides holding hands across their respective bridges while a flotilla of “kayaks, canoes and inner tubes” make their way down river to each successive protest in progress. We look forward to the inevitable media circus. And careful in that river, guys. We chipped a tooth on that water once.
