Happy Belated Birthday, Joey Flag!

A tipster dear to our heart pointed us to the following quote in today’s New York Post, from the mouth of everyone’s favorite Spaniard actor whose credits include both Zorro and Puss In Boots:

My real name’s Jose Bandera. Bandera means ‘flag.’ As a political act, to accept the whole state of Spain and its plurality, and to include all Spanish territories such as Catalonia, Andalusia and the Basque country, I added the symbolic ‘S.’

In other words, it looks cooler in movie credits. Nice try, though, Joey!
