Hide The Silver: Carlos Mencia Will Host The Creative Emmys

The poor man’s George Lopez will host the poor man’s Emmy’s on September 8th at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. Carlos Mencia, who is most well known for not being funny, will host the 2-hour television special to be broadcast on E! the night before the Primetime (real) Emmy’s which will air on FOX. What the hell are the Creative Arts Emmys?

Statutettes in 75 categories will be presented, most of them for behind-the-scenes work, such as art direction, cinematography and hairstyling.

Behind the scenes is also where you steal material when no one is looking. Not that there’s any correlation. We’re just saying.
