If the above footage from a local news crew was the only way we learned about last night’s deadly earthquake in coastal Peru, we’d find the whole thing funny. Highlights include the caption at :20 that someone threw in to address the women frantically wailing in the background. Then, there’s the audio guy at :51 who asks, “How much time do we have?” while trying not to sound absolutely terrified. And finally, the visibly nauseated reporter almost gags at 1:07 but manages to keep his last meal down. Good thing, too: we wouldn’t want him to ruin that get-up.
