Mexican Senate Catches IILF Fever

You thought yesterday morning was the last you’d ever see of America’s most famous “Illegal I’d Like To Fuck,” but we’re afraid news from her motherland says otherwise: yesterday, a Mexican Senate committee formally agreed to prod President Felipe Calderón into sending a diplomatic note to the U.S. that’ll protest the deportation of Elvira Arellano. (Talk about mastery of ineffectual, round-about, governmental ‘action.’) Don’t quite know how that note will read, but we’re sure any mention of Jesus or Elvira’s U.S. citizen of a son–predictable as it may be–has a good shot at melting President Bush’s gullible heart. Which is probably why they don’t actually let Dubya make decisions.
