The suits around here hate it when we get all raza unida on you, but we think you’ll regard this next story with unaffected amusement. A woman in Carollton, Georgia named Emelina Ramirez Bojorquez (who’s pregnant) was thrown into detention as an illegal alien after police were called into her home to break up a domestic dispute where SHE was the victim. (One of her young children called 911.) Turns out the woman is illegal, but her citizenship status was never called into question until she filed for divorce from her abusive husband who (wait for it…wait for it…) is a COP! Ha! Ha! Ha! See? Totally keeping it light and fun.
