No One Bought J. Lo's Love For Ben Affleck In "Gigli," Just Like In Real Life

Gigli_Ixnay_Chemistry_8_21_07.png 3,000 movie-goers have churned out a list of Hollywood’s least convincing on-screen couples at the behest of film ad junkies Pearl and Dean. (There’s clearly no shortage of free time over there.) Rankings are based on what percentage of the polling pool didn’t believe the chemistry of these acting tandems:

1. Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen in “Star Wars: Episode II, Attack of the Clones”
2. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in “Gigli”
3. Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom in all three “Pirates of the Caribbean”
4. Madonna and Adriano Giannini in “Swept Away” [Yeah, we never heard of it, either.]
5. Catherine Zeta Jones and Sir Sean Connery in “Entrapment”

(And that’s just the top 5, folks!) It’d be easy to crack a joke here about how J. Lo should appear a second time on the list for her wretched romp with Marc Anthony, but we’ll do you one better: not enough people saw “El Cantante” to pass judgment.
