Unshocking Revelation: Rosario Dawson Backs Out Of “Porno” Role Kevin Smith Wrote Exclusively For Her

The tasty quarter-Puerto Rican, quarter-Cuban actress at left hasn’t earned a full-on mention here yet, so we figured news that she snubbed Hollywood’s dorkiest evil genius was an appropriate way to welcome her. Rosario Dawson said during an interview with MTV that her decision to do another movie this fall means she’ll be booked when Kevin Smith’s “Zack And Miri Make A Porno” starts filming. The snub comes only a week after Smith confessed that he had penned Miri’s character specifically for her. (We imagine alot of discarded Kleenex and sweaty palm-wringing went into that script.) Smith even said he’d be “flabbergasted” if she didn’t play her.

Apparently, Kev, rejection of this kind is what a director gets for overtly drooling over his potential star. (Unless, of course, his name is Quentin Tarantino; in that case, “Kill Bill” gets made.) Talk about Dawson leaving a guy with egg on his face! But at least that’s better than jizz on hers.
