





In stark contrast with their previous stance towards their other neighbors to the south, Canada’s tourism department in Toronto is launching a media campaign to attract more Mexicans to Toronto as a tourist destination. The media campaign promotes Toronto as a “stylish, high-end destination.” Canada’s Globe and Mail reports:
Mexico is a very interesting market with a surging middle class that is looking for new experiences,” said Tourism Toronto spokesman Andrew Weir. “They’re prepared to spend money. They’re looking for a stylish, indulgent vacation.
