Fidel Castro Writes To Say, “Apparently I Died In 2002”

After all our obsessing about Fidel Castro’s impending death, we shouldn’t be surprised that he found out about it. But we kinda were when, this morning, the following email was in our inbox:

Having much spare time in my convalescence to take the many tests one can find on MySpace, I was surprised to find that, according to an online death calculator, I should have died in 2002. Seeing as you have some interest in my demise, (Heh! Get in the line!), I thought you’d appreciate the attached screengrab of my results. [Ed. Note: Click to enlarge.] If death can’t get me, you sure won’t. Remember: I began the revolution with 82 men. If I had to do it again, I would wipe my ass with your blog.
