For those of you semitically challenged, Rosh Hashanah or the Jewish New Year, which began today, is a time for reflection and self-improvement and work is strictly forbidden. [Ed. Note: Although our Mexican, Jew boss is sinning away as we write this.] The holiday is characterized by the blowing of the shofar, or ram’s horn. As it turns out, we ate our pet ram Bolívar a couple of days ago. (Yeah, sue us, and try living on a blogger’s salary for a week). So we did the the next best thing: we danced to the song “La Cabra”. Oy Vey, María!
