It’s not often we get to be sincere. Mainly because it makes us itch down there. But we have got to give a shout out where a shout out is due. And that’s to one Ms. Mayra Mejia, an assistant manager at New York City burger chain Better Burger who, at 7 months pregnant, was knocked down and dragged on her belly 10 feet by a mugger. Police say Mejia was on her way to the bank with an $8,700 deposit in a bag wrapped around her hand when the suspect, Brian Lebron, attacked her and took the bag. But not without a struggle! Hey, that making babies thing may be true, but who says Latinos don’t work hard for the money? Fortunately, a co-worker, Carlos Almonte, and some other good Samaritans were able to chase Lebron down and retrieve the money. We hope someone gave these two a raise.
