J. Lo’s Latest Clothing Line, JustSweet, Just Silly

Banking on butterflies, fairies and purple trees to lull the crowd into a child-like state, Jennifer Lopez’s most recent line of clothing hit the runway last night at New York’s Fashion Week. Jenny from the fucking block, meinh, naturally stressed affordability when talking about “JustSweet”–the label that asked onlookers to marvel at colors like ‘pirate pink’ and ‘magic mint’ without chuckling ’til their botox squirted out. J. Lo says she’s not worried about whether her peers take her seriously as a designer. Translation? Brace yourself for some faux modesty:

“I’m not looking for the credibility,” she said. “I’m looking to make clothes that every woman can wear.”

As if she’s found a surplus of credibility elsewhere?
