An intern insider says that one of last night’s tents at New York’s fashion week had the privilege of walking our favorite brown skeleton, America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez. We’re told she did something most of the show’s alumni don’t by booking an actual gig, specifically with an organization that serves as “the fashion world’s version of training wheels.” (You gotta start somewhere, right? Especially if you’re Latina.) Thank God there was an explanation of this GenArt operation for us non-fashionistas, and thank God we’re not fashionistas:
A sponsorship with them means a shared runway show, great visibility… and a crowd that actually cheers and screams, high-school play style, at the end of your collection.
We figure fond memories of those cheers and screams will come in handy when she’s deemed not skinny enough by her peers.

This image includes the ten pounds the camera adds?
She needs to be on the cover of National Geographic, after which the U.S. Marines should parachoot into fashion week to feed these people.
