Nine years ago, in Mountain View California, a couple of computer geeks started an internet search engine company that has slowly and insidiously turned into the lifeblood of an entire industry. Whether you like it or not, Google owns your ass. To celebrate nine years of such magnificent pwnage, Google, in a nod to everything brown, incorporated a piñata in their logo today. Let that be the last time you think Latino influence doesn’t reach far and wide.

those ‘geeks’ at the googleplex need to google “pinatas” …its not representative of all of Latin-America…unless they’re only celebrating Mexico’s independence…and of course, the pinata has NOTHING to do with Mexico’s independence anyway…guess they’re not so smart after all.

Actually, they’re not celebrating Latino heritage at all. They’re celebrating their birthday and simply using a piñata as a symbol of that. Reading comprehension. It works!
