Mexico_Coke_Crackdown_9_13_07.jpg So it seems a recent and bloody crackdown on drug cartels in Mexico by the government over there has negatively affected the cocaine supply in 26 different U.S. cities, driving its way prices up and purity way down. (We feel bad for hardcore fans of altered state techno act Todosantos, we really do.) Apparently, something about throwing wave after wave of armed federales at drug distributors south of the border remains a mystery to the American arm of the law:

“The law enforcement community and intelligence community is asking, ‘How did this work?’ and ‘How do we keep it going?’ ” says John Walters, director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.

Who cares about the ‘how’ of it? If this shiz keeps up, bloggers whoring out for hits and the readers who love them can kiss cocaine fueled animal orgies goodbye.
