If this PBS trailer for the George Lopez brag-umentary, “Brown Is The New Green: George Lopez and the American Dream,” is any indication, the movie is full of helpful hints for those of us brown folks who can only dream of wiping our asses with hundred dollar bills like G Lo. In this clip, George explains that if you want to be the man, it’s crucial to dress the part:
When I was young, all the important dudes wore suits […] The manager’s not wearing a FUBU jersey.
Then G. goes on to tell us why we should listen to him.
To sell out shows all over the United States, it tells everybody it’s not a mistake. And it’s one dude, man. It’s one dude.
Just like in his mind. One dude.
