The Unbearable Lightness of Being Jessica Alba

Pushing war trivialities aside, CNN decided to tackle the real issues and sat down with non-ethnically ambiguous Jessica Alba to talk, among other things, about science and the burden of being sexy. Deep thoughts follow:

Jessica Alba on Science:

I love science. I’ve always loved biology, like I’m almost a little obsessed with it. It’s kind of unhealthy […] I’m super dorky.

Apparently, science loves Jessica back!

Jessica Alba on being sexy:

I don’t really think about it too much. I’m like everybody else. I get insecure about things just like everybody else. I wake up in the morning and think, “What the hell am I going to do with my face today or my hair? What am I going to wear?”

How about a nice Nopal for your forehead, babygirl?

I love the nopal reference.

GQ had a spread a couple of years back with quotes from 12 hot actresses who called themselves dorks. WTF? I hate that shit. You’re not a dork. A dork drools on themself and runs into walls. Just because you play klutzy in a role doesn’t mean you can play all “I’m just like you… even though I’m scientifically perfect.”

Except Reese Witherspoon. I bet she’s a dork… but oh so cute.

She failed to mention her daily ritual of cursing the heavens because of her dark skin! “Why can’t I look like Jessica Simpson!”

hey, at least she said she was mexican (albeit very slyly) on the view last week.
