Graphics are as important to a modern newscast as reporters. Heck, they’re more important. Who could forget “Terror In The Heartland”? Or “Vaginagate”? Which is why it pains us so to see Univision drop the ball on their choice of graphic for the historic, first Spanish-Language, American, presidential debate which was held September 10th in Miami. We didn’t watch it, of course. (Are you kidding us? Bo-ring.) So we only discovered the graphic yesterday after watching a clip from The Daily Show, which we’ve screengrabbed above. We mean, with all the White folks watching, couldn’t they have dispensed with the Democratic Party burro?

Pendejo, anyone giving a shit enough about US politics to actually watch the debate (and not just being paid to comment about it on a blog only after it’s spoofed on the Daily Show) would’ve known to what the burro was referring.
